I’m going to Disney World in 12 days (eeeek!!) and I can’t wait to make my first photobook when I get back. I am new to scrapbooking, but I love the pocket style digital scrapbooking so can’t wait to use my Disney and Universal pictures (I know I’ll take a lot! When I went to Harry Potter studio tour in England I took about 900 photos in 4 hours… Most of them are no good, but got a few good ones. I’m still learning)

  • I’m going to check out the tripod. I just ordered the QX10 and got it with a slew of accessories through Amazon, one of which is a tripod. I’ll have to see how it works out!

Ack! You got it!!! Yay!!! I can’t wait to hear about it!

Chelle, I would love to know how you made the Mickey cover. I love it and would love to use the idea for our next Disney trip.

    Hi Steph–

I have done a couple of Disney trip books. The first book I did full layouts. It was very time intensive, but I love the end result. The second book was for a trip where we lost my husband’s camera. For this particular trip we had decided not to do Photopass, and so most of our photos were with my old camera phone and some not-so-stellar point and shoots. After waiting and hoping that we’d find his camera, I finally decided to scrap them. Since the photo quality wasn’t the best, I decided to just do it as easily as possible. I used LR. It was so easy and took much less time than the first book. LR has an agreement with Blurb, but I was able to save the pages as jpgs and upload them to adorama.

We are doing an Alaskan Disney Cruise this summer, and I am highly considering another LR book.

Thanks Chelle for just the “kick in the pants” that I needed to finally get back to my 2011 Disney book that is still not done! I love your two page spreads that you posted on the Flickr group. So I’ve started an AdoramaPix lay-flat book and am now committed to doing at least a layout a day until I finish! And just in time too…because we’re going on another Disney trip next month! Thanks for the inspiration and the motivation! ~Tiffany in NH

I loved your podcast when it was part of the touring plans network. But, I listen to podcasts via Stitcher. Is there any way you could join Stitcher so I could listen again? Also, I’d love it if your app was available on android phones!

Thanks Margo! I finally filled out the forms tonight (thank you for the reminder and motivation). Hopefully it will be in there in the next 24 hours!
