Quick, Easy, Adorable Autograph Book That Everyone Will Fuss Over (especially the characters)

If you have listened to the Capturing Magic podcast, you have probably heard us talk about the Chua family. Ginger is a digital scrapbooker, Jon is a super geeky tech guy, and together (along with their three kids in tow) are SUPER Disney fans! Almost a year ago, I got together with the Chua's, Tanya Hickman (and her other half, Chris), listener/reader Tammi, and my sister for dinner in Disneyland.

Ginger had told me about her kids autograph book before, but she brought it with her, this time, to show me. She had created themed pages for every character that signs autographs and then had them printed in a photo book format.  It was such a beautiful, beautiful book and I was drooling over it!! I knew that I wanted….NEEDED a book like this for my kids for our Disney World trip. Being the lazy, yet resourceful person that I am, I enlisted my friend (and team member here), as well as digital scrapbook designer, Tanya Hickman to help. She agreed to create some print ready pages that I could upload to my favorite photo book printer AdoramaPix to create an autograph book.

I'm so excited to share with our readers these products that Tanya created, as well as an exclusive coupon code for them AND an exclusive coupon code to get them printed at Adoramapix!! I was able to get 2 autograph books uploaded and ordered in ONE HOUR!!! Everyone that saw this autograph book in the parks asked about where I got it…especially the characters! Watch Drizella in the video below (or click here if it doesn't show up for you):

Here are the goodies!!

Grab the autograph book that Tanya created here.

My favorite photo book printing company is AdoramaPix (this is after doing a thorough review of 12 different companies for The Daily Digi). I have sent many, many readers their way over the years and NEVER heard anything but praise for the extremely high quality! They are beautiful books and they WILL make you gasp (in a good way), when you see them!  Tanya's pages are designed to go with the 6×7.5 books.

My autograph books were 56 pages each and the total was $62.40. The 50% off would make it $31.20.  It will take us a while to get them completely filled up, so they will be going on many Disney trips to come! My kids loved the books as much as the characters!!!  Totally worth it!

    Link doesn’t work, Steph!

    • DailyDigiSteph

      Which link?

    • Can you try again, the links work for me. Maybe there was a hiccup online earlier? 😉

  • Kathy

The link above to the Autograph book: Grab the autograph book that Tanya created here

    • DailyDigiSteph

They are working. I had several people try them. Maybe a different browser? Sorry!

  • Kathy

Sorry for the bother, Steph……just won’t work for me. Wlll see if I can find it some other way—-thanks for checking it, and glad it works for most!!!

    • DailyDigiSteph
    • Tanya

So sorry! I have no idea why it won’t work for you :(. After 9pm PST tonight it will be added to the front page of my Scrap Orchard store so if you still can’t get the direct link to work, then it will be live with the rest of the new releases later tonight!

I am getting a weird board that wants me to register….but there is no identifying info and I don’t like registering when I can’t see where I am! Will try the main page again….for some reason my Google is blocking it. Will try from my iPad.

        • DailyDigiSteph

Ohhhhhhh…it’s all coming together for me. I think you have a virus or malware. Run a virus scan and try again.

  • Super Duper, Tanya!!! And I love the video with Drizella, so so fun. Thanks for sharing this, Steph! – and what an awesome idea to print pages blank in the photo book ahead of time. Thanks for all of the info and to AdoramaPix for the discount. They printed a DL book for me and it is beautiful.

LOVE the pages Tanya! Yes, Steph that video is hilarious, I think Drizella really wanted one for all her photos too! 🙂 Since I’ve never done an Adorama book before, did you use certain height and width numbers when you dragged them into the pages, or how did you line them up with the template? I think you did a tutorial once maybe that I’m not finding…thanks!

    • DailyDigiSteph

Thanks Julie! I just set my book up to be the size of the pages, then drag/dropped and clicked on fill page (or something like that). There is a tutorial here on the site, if you search for AdoramaPix, you should find it.

      • julielong

Thanks–got it! I found a great tutorial on Daily Digi from Wendy and she said that same thing fill page…works perfectly!

  • Stephanie

Well done guys, this is AHHH-SOOOME! I’m going to have to make one too. Another cool project to use with an Instax Camera or even better the Zink Happy!

  • Gabrielle McCann

So so cool!!! Love that video. And the book is fantastic!
Would those pages work as pocket page style for scrapbooking do you think? Are they easy to size to 4×6??

    • DailyDigiSteph

Because of the aspect ratio being different from a 4×6, you would need to back them with something before or after printing, but they would work. Tanya might be willing to whip up a 4×6 version with some arm twisting 😉

      • Gabrielle McCann

Thanks Steph – I might just do them as is!
        Your book looks amazing!

      • Brandy

Oh that would be fantastic! I just LOVE these but I am planning on doing a Pocket Style Album after our trip this year so 4×6 would be so perfect! PRETTY PLEASE Tanya……. 🙂

    • I’ve resized them to work for a 4×6, but it’s a bit more complicated lol. I had to crop then resize then change the cancas size. I can let you know the exact dimensions if you want?

      • Gabrielle McCann

Thanks Heather – I’m a digi scrap novice (actually what’s one step lower than a novice!) so I might just stick with the dimensions and do the book as is!

        • Yea, it’s not *too* complicated, but much easier to just stick them printed as a book lol

          • Gabrielle McCann

            Yep! Thanks!

  • Stephanie

Quick Question – does a cover image come with the set? If not can we see a pic of your cover Steph?

  • susannem

Love, love, love this idea. Now I just need a trip to Disney World…

  • Jeanne Bancroft

I know it’s a couple of weeks after the first post, but I just had to tell you how AMAZING my book came out!! (I didn’t realize Tanya had cover pages available on her blog, so I made my own from some Disney word art I already had.) I made it for our big family trip (all 6 of us are going next spring for my grandson’s first visit!), but it’s going to be hard to NOT bring it this October when my husband and I go alone!! LOL! Thank you, thank you, thank you, one and all.. Tanya for creating such an easy and beautiful book, Steph for sharing (& for the discount codes 😉 ), and Adorama for doing such a fabulous job on the finished product (FAST too!!). You guys are the BEST!!

    • DailyDigiSteph

Thanks, Jeanne!!! So glad you love it!!

    • Tanya

Aww!! This makes me so happy!

  • krizbee

Darn! Wish I had seen this before!

  • Rachel

I know that this is an older post that I have happened upon, but none of the links work. I was wondering if this content is still available or if it has been removed. Thank you so much!

    • Tanya

Hi Rachel! Sorry I am just seeing this. I retired from designing a couple months ago and so none of my products are in a store anymore. If you are still interested, you can contact me at TanyaH666@yahoo.com and we can set something up that way. Thanks!

    • DailyDigiSteph

The links have been updated to the new location Tanya is selling the digital downloads for the autograph book. 🙂

      • ckcpurple

Sorry, Steph, but her Etsy shop says it has no listings.

        • DailyDigiSteph

          It’s fixed!

          THANKS!
