Land Signs – Carsland & Paradise Pier

I wrap up the series of page toppers inspired by the land signs of the California Adventure park with Carsland & Paradise Pier.

For the Carsland sign I cut the letters from a picture of Carsland at Night. I did a search for an image online and then printed it on cardstock and then cut it with the June Bug font. I once again made a shadow layer and adhered the letters askew to add dimension to the look. For the script I used the Rapier LET font.

The final land sign is Paradise Pier. For the base I used part of the frame from the Vim & Vigor Cut-it set from Lettering Delights and the Banner from Miss Kate Cuttables. The sun was in the shapes library of my cutting software. I cut the title from the Benguiat font and then hand lettered the banner with a red pen. To add the look of the lights I used Diamond Stickles on the letters.

So there you have it, page toppers for your scrapbook pages inspired by the lands of the Disneyland Resort. Next I'm going to give some of the attractions a try, so if there are any favorites you have post them in the comments and I'll try and recreate them!
